Did Robert Nilsson even play tonight? He and Gagner created absolute Zero.

Say Dennis, at 13:05 of the second you got 83 with the scoring chance and 13-34-85 on the ice. That was one of 2 chances for that line tonight, the other (reportedly) was the game’s first chance before I tuned in. I honestly don’t remember them generating a single dangerous play, so that was likely Hemsky’s chance and perhaps you recorded the wrong clock time?

And no doubt you will have noticed that 13-34-78 were the only three plus Oilers in the last game SC-wise, and tonight with 78 PB’s and Reddox in his place that line absolutely sucked shit and basically cost us the game.

Good move putting Concussion Boy back in there.

And, yes, over at LT’s place I commented that the only three guys to OC vs Det were 78-13-34.

The Oilers have won the ST battle two nights in a row but have no lose three straight games in reg and have been outscored 4-11 at EV in the last four games.

BTW, 12 Did create at least one chance: there was a play in the first period where he pushed the puck behind his own net and into our slot:)

I told Gregor this the other day when he was pimping the 12-89-21 line but they only really looked good in the third period versus a shitty and young Avs team. Other than that, I don’t think they’ve outchanced a whole lot.

Dennis: yeah I saw that brutal play by Nilsson, so I kept an eye on him after that to see if he’d make anything happen in the good end, but nada. If your stats are to be believed — just yankin’ your chain on that one — that one giveaway was the only chance at either end with Row-bert on the ice. In fact his line on the events summary is a complete blank, he did nothing the entire game according to that.

Pretty much matches with what I observed.
