The quotes on Warren Rychel’s son Kerby getting drafted by Barrie in the OHL Draft are awesome. Rychel, who runs the Spitfires, wanted to draft his son. He spread the word and asked teams to stay away from his son as he would take him in the second round. He’s not very happy about Barrie picking him.

Really? 40 years? I don’t see a lot of Windsor natives on the Spitfires. I guess family ties only matter if you have a relative in the league. Otherwise, you’re a piece of meat, free to be selected by the first bidder.
