Chatroulette is apparently a site that connects people with random people to talk to, whether by text, microphone or webcam, over the internet. It launched a few months ago and, as I understand things, it just links you up with a stranger with whom you then speak. It may say something about how the internet is passing me by that I don’t understand why anyone would do this - I prefer to talk to strangers only if I can be certain that we have a shared interest.
